Chelsi L. Benger was born and raised in Loveland, CO. Growing up in Colorado, Chelsi grew to love the outdoors; activities that go along with being outdoors, sports, adventure, music, but most of all creating art. She was that kid drawing in her notebook in school instead of taking notes. In high school she really started to discover her passion for creating art.

After high school, Chelsi moved to Boise, ID to be close to her mom's side of the family. She briefly attended Boise State University (go Broncos)  where she studied Art and English. She currently resides in Nampa, ID with her husband and two sons.

In 2008 Chelsi started her art business, BrightEye Illustration & Art Concepts. The business name comes from a nickname Chelsi's father gave her. Her company focuses on and specializes in large scale acrylic paintings, illustration, and item customization such as; waksurf boards, stand-up paddle boards, skateboards, hopefully some hand made skis soon, shoes, helmets, and pretty much any other item that a client may want customized.

Chelsi is a big supporter fo Idaho Matters, a group that focuses on raising awareness for Idaho wildlife through the support of The Idaho Wildlife Federation. Chelsi believes conservation is important for our children's furture and the world around us. In the coming years, Chelsi hopes to be able to raise awareness for other charities that focus on the needs of children and eliminating poverty in Idaho and around the globe.
